About Foxlease Farm
Foxlease Farm in Upperville, VA is the former estate of John Archbold, a co-founder of Standard Oil. Bought by Eric and Jeffrey Steiner in the late 90’s, Foxlease Farm has turned into a one of a kind equestrian facility. From foxhunting to eventing and polo, Foxlease Farm harbors an array of options for you and your horse. Facilities include a sand ring, a jump field, a small practice polo field, a regulation size polo field, as well as 500 acres of rolling hills and trails to ride out. There are also four barns with a total of 55 stalls.
Foxlease Farm is home to the Foxlease Polo Club, JS Polo, and CO'R Equestrian. Our club harbors some of the finest polo on the east coast with top-notch facilities and access to highly trained individuals and events. We are a full service polo and equestrian facility offering leagues, practices, clinics, lessons, board and training for all levels and disciplines. Foxlease Polo Club is currently operated by Julia Steiner.
